So wedding season started for us yesterday. We had a few weddings doing the summer(off-season), but now we are pretty much packed with weddings all the way into May 09 (we do have some weekends open so if your interested contact us).
Yesterday was well.... quite interesting! The day started off great, hair was at Vanity Hair Salon in Yuma AZ. and what a great job they all did. Make-up was also done at Vanity with Heather in which she just put the icing on the cake, and made my job a lot easier during the day with bolding the eyes of the girls and as promised I told her I would put some pictures up on the blog.
Lets skip to the ceremony and reception. My assistant and I walked into the venue, and noticed that it was pretty warm in there. What had happen was the power literally just shut off, and when that happens in Yuma's 110+ degree weather no power = no A/C we get like wet sponges. But the Bride and Groom were sooooo good about it and they both had high spirits. Everything happens for a reason is what I believe and just wait till you see the pictures that came out of the whole thing because of the no lighting. The ceremony started, it was still hot, BUT right after the ceremony everything started turning on! Yay!!! APS saved the day.
Anyways there are a few people I would like to thank, first off the Bride and Groom. Thank you for lettings us be part of it and thank you for your gracious words last night, you both are a great couple and hopefully Eric and I can get together to go fishing very soon. Also my assistant Chris Pierce he was awesome and made my life a lot easier yesterday.
On to Florida. where we will be shooting a wedding in Orlando next week. Can't wait.
Enjoy,
